Welcome to P5WM
We took a trip to Belfast, to the Ulster Museum! We had great fun!
We became artists like Lavery, we became Portraits, we saw Takabuti (a REAL Egyptian mummy!!) and we held and learnt about real Egyptian artefacts!
We all had a brilliant day and learnt so many different things!! Have a look at some of our photos below to see all the fun we had!
We had great fun on our Easter bunny hunt! 🐰 Thank you to FOA for our treats afterwards, they were delicious! 😋

Over the last 3 weeks, we have really enjoyed having Mark and Ava in from SU. We have enjoyed the different activities and loved the acting parts!! 🌟😝

We had great fun in our dodgeball PE session! We warmed up with stuck in the mud then had some exciting games of dodgeball!⚽️🏀🤾🏼♂️🤾🏽♀️
We have really enjoyed our first few weeks in P5.
In literacy we have been learning about proper and common nouns and poetry. We have enjoyed reading different poems and writing our own conversation poem.
In numeracy we have been revising place value, addition and multiplication facts. We have also been looking at tally and bar charts.
In music this term we will be learning to play the recorder, we are very excited!
Our topic this term is Australia. We will be learning all about the climate, famous landmarks and the history and culture.
We have fun practising our spellings each Monday during spelling activities.
We enjoyed a Halloween hunt around the school. We hunted for hidden objects and solved mental maths calculations.
We enjoyed painting pictures of the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
