Accelerated Reader
Pupils in P5-P7 take part in the Accelerated Reading Programme which is geared to promote a greater interest in Reading and improve the overall standard of Reading within the school. Pupils undertake a reading test at various stages in the academic year and their standardised score generates a reading range. This allows them to choose a book that matches their interest and ability. An online quiz is done after the completion of each book and the points scored go towards an individual A.R. target for that given quizzing period. Pupils who reach their points targets are rewarded with certificates and Homework Vouchers.
