Ancient Egypt
We have been to the Ulster Museum to take part in an Ancient Egyptian workshop and, of course, to say hello to Lady Takabuti.
We found out all about mummification during our workshop and got to handle Egyptian objects. Next, we tried some of the important jobs which Ancient Egyptians had to do. We worked as scribes, jewellers, painters and two of the boys even ‘mummified’ a cat.
And now, we present a completely new and ‘never been seen before’ art gallery collection which was on show at the Ulster Museum for just one day.
We took part in an art watercolour workshop at the museum.

Mandarin Lessons- P5 are learning a new language. We are very lucky to have our very own teacher coming in to help us!!
Shoot Out- P5 are busy learning their times tables facts. They are aiming to have quick mental recall!!
SQUIRT Time- This year P5 are enjoying Silent, Quiet, Uniterrupted Reading Time. We are all working hard at becoming independent readers and developing our reading skills!
Outdoor Learning - P5 were having fun in the sun. They were learning all about Place Value using hula hoops and themselves!!
