Supported Charities
At the Abercorn we value our community links and are very grateful for the generous charitable donations our parents, guardians and staff regularly contribute. In term 1, we have raised a total of £1,657. Have a look below at the charities we have supported this year and the charitable events that have taken place.
This term we raised a total of £205 for Macmillan by having a delicious staff soup lunch made by Mrs Williamson and Mrs Gibson , two of our FS assistants.
Our annual Poppy Appeal raised £80 for the Royal British Legion.
For the Cancer Fund for Children we raised a total of £530 by holding a Christmas Jumper Day and in lieu of parents buying staff Christmas presents this year, parents were very generous and donated £535 through our new ParentPay app.
Thank you all so much for your generous contributions in what has no doubt been a very challenging year.
