Check out the latest events at Abercorn
Two teams from Abercorn took part in the Evo Football Tournament on Thursday 11th November. The A team were victorious, winning the tournament in a close fought final against Bridge A. Every member of the team played some fantastic football. A new B team took to the pitch and showed some great teamwork. They outplayed many A teams, Sammy being named goal keeper of the day.
A big mention must go to both goal keepers,
Jacob Andrews and Sammy. They were outstanding. Well done Abercorn!
🤠We had an enjoyable treat to end term 1A with a barn dance. Thank you to Strings and Sings and CA, Teresa McBurney, for providing the entertainment. 🤠

During the month of May, beginning on Tuesday 4th, we are encouraging as many of our children as possible to walk, cycle or scoot to school. If you live too far away to walk, cycle or scoot you drive, park then walk the remainder of your journey. This is one of Sustrans Active Travel into School's initiatives. Classes will be competing against each other with a prize for the winning class at the end of the month! This competition will last the whole month of May. Class prizes will be given within each key stage weekly. The winning classes will be announced each Friday morning. GET MOVING IN MAY!!
