I hope you are all keeping safe and working through your pack. Activities sent home were to be completed over a couple of weeks, remember that many of the skills developed at Foundation Stage are through practical activities.
When doing a reading activity your child must spend at least 15 minutes reading the book. Then ask your child some questions or write some questions about the book and get your child to write the answer to them.
Keep practising your sounds and make words with them. Try to complete two pages of your handwriting book each week and encourage good handwriting when carrying out any written work.
In your World Around Us booklet "Land and Sea" research the animals and write some sentences about them. Draw pictures of them and then can you talk about what you have found out about the animals to your family. Are there any other sea animals that you would like to learn about? There are also lots of craft activities around this area.
This week we would have been having an Easter egg hunt and making an Easter card. Have a go at these activities at home. Also it is very important to read to your child as we do this most days. A good website for ebooks is www.oxfordowl.co.uk . Make sure you keep practicing your mental maths in your Learn and Remember book. Here is a suggested timetable below. However, this is just a guideline and you will use your day in whatever way suits your child best.
