P6 Killowen Trip
The final day's activities saw the 2 groups go zip-lining across a river and scrambling up Pigeon Rock.
All pupils and staff thoroughly enjoyed the 4 days.
On our penultimate day of activities we split once more. 1 group went out canoeing with a spin on a speed boat and zip lining across a river while the other group also enjoyed an afternoon canoeing and a trip on the speed boat.
In the evening we took a short hike up to Cloughmore to round off a very enjoyable day.
Once again, all children eating and sleeping well.
We have all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Killowen Outdoor Education Centre and we're all very saddened to hear of its closure in the new year.
Groups split for Adventure Walking in Tollymore Forest Park and Bouldering in the Mournes.
In the afternoon we all went over the top of Ott mountain.
Pupils all well and with healthy appetites. Settling in for our movie night tonight due to poor weather conditions.

We celebrated our school Harvest service on Friday 20th October. We enjoyed some beautiful singing from both the Junior and Senior Choirs as well as P1-3 and P5. Thank you to Mark, the Youth Officer from Holy Trinity church for joining us.
On Friday 16th June, we all took part in a "Colour Run" up at the High School. We all dressed up in bright colours and ran or walked around the playing field. It was great fun!
We have raised £3,195.27 so far for school resources. Thank you for your support!
On Wednesday the 5th April, Rachel McMurray from P2 had 6 inches of her hair cut off for the Little Princess Trust. Her hair will be used to make a wig for a child who has lost their hair through illness. She was very brave getting her hair cut for this very worthy cause and really suits her new hair style. There was also a bun sale on this day and an amazing £350 was raised! Thank you to everyone who supported this fundraiser.
